Chef 5 Minute Meals Works with Hand-of-Hope to Provide Self-Heating Meals For the Homeless

Hand-of-Hope, a Johnson City, TN-based nonprofit, was recently covered in the Elizabethton Star for their efforts to provide meals to the homeless in the Tri-Cities, TN region.

Patrons and different organizations have already provided items that will be provided to homeless individuals, including Hand-of-Hope, which is based out of Johnson City.

“Hand-of-Hope recently reached out to Elizabethton and Carter County churches and other nonprofits during the ‘Come to the Table’ event at First Methodist Church,” Johnson said. “This is Hand-of-Hope’s first installment on a commitment made to assist locally in meeting the needs of the homeless and those in need. The more we can raise in donations, the more we can leverage and provide hot meals to those in need.”

Chef 5 Minute Meals understands the importance of helping those in need, and as an original co-sponsor and continuing supporter of Hand-of-Hope, C5MM works with the agency to provide useful self-heating, shelf-stable meals as it can and was pleased to be able to supply the Appalachian Regional Coalition on the Homeless (ARCH) with meals ready-to-eat for this year’s Homeless Count Project.
