The Governor's Hurricane Conference (Conference) was established in order to provide a vehicle to present lessons learned and other important information about hurricanes to public and private officials, especially local emergency management professionals and those involved in preparedness, planning, response and recovery at all levels of government, industry and private interests. The primary target audience was and continues to be the first-line responders to a hurricane or other tropical weather event. In addition, the Conference also serves as a forum for state and local emergency management officials to exchange ideas and to discuss and recommend new policies to improve emergency management in the State of Florida.Attending this conference provides Chef 5 Minute Meals with the opportunity to connect with movers, shakers, and professionals of all levels in the emergency management and disaster relief industry. This will allow Chef 5 to share their innovative, pre-cooked, self-heating, shelf-stable, ready-to-eat meals with those who can help Chef put them to use when and where they are most needed. Also from the GHC website:
"The GHC is a place for all levels of government, private sector, healthcare, voluntary organizations and related professions to exchange ideas.
More than 2,000 participants are expected to attend the GHC.
...
The GHC Exhibit Hall's 100+ vendors will showcase state-of-the-art technologies, products, and services."
For these reasons, Chef 5 Minute Meals is proud to yet again be in attendance at the 2018 Governor's Hurricane Conference.
